This is where your text will appear if you follow these
directions:
Use Microsoft Word and create a page. Just type up what you want. You can even include images if you want, but
remember, the more images you have, the longer it will take to upload. Also remember that some features, when
saved, will not convert properly to html.
What the heck do I mean? You’ll
get it the first time you try to get too fancy and it doesn’t work.
Anyhow, once you’ve created your document, do the following:
- Click
on “File” in the gray menu bar at the top.
- Choose
“Save As Web Page.”
- By
default, Word will try to save it to your “My Documents” folder, but
that’s not where you want it. You
want to click on the button that reads, “My Network Places.”
- It
will open a new window, and you will type in the web address that
corresponds to your page as listed below:

Mom & Dad: http://www.mikesfriends.com/mdpage
Bryan: http://www.mikesfriends.com/bryanpage
Kelly: http://www.mikesfriends.com/kellypage

If you have questions for me, email or call me. Once you do this once, it’ll seem easy to
you. Keep in mind, when you save a new
page, it will over write the previous one.
Finally, you will need a username and password.
I’ll email that. It
wouldn’t make much sense to put it on the website, now would it?
Love you all!
